Hero Siege classes: every class and which are free
24 classes, four of them newly free in Season 10. Damage types, free versus DLC, and how to choose a first class.
Hero Siege has at least 24 classes across melee, bows, guns and spells. Season 10 Ebontharn made four former DLC classes free: Marauder, Plague Doctor, Shield Lancer and Jötunn. Six classes are still paid DLC. This page lists them all and how to pick.

- 18 classes are free in Season 10, including Marauder, Plague Doctor, Shield Lancer and Jötunn, which became free with Ebontharn.

The roster and damage types are from herosiegewiki.com, which leaves the damage type of the newer DLC classes blank because sources disagree. Bard arrived in Season 7 and Prophet in Season 9. Check the Steam store for current DLC prices.
How to pick a class
- Pick a build, then the class that has it. Tier lists rank skills such as Lightning Fury or Shield Wall. Our Season 10 tier list has the rankings.
- Ranged classes are more forgiving while you learn the game. Marksman, Pyromancer and Plague Doctor keep enemies at a distance.
- Melee classes like Samurai hit hard but ask more of your defences.

The four free classes in Season 10
Ebontharn made Marauder, Plague Doctor, Shield Lancer and Jötunn part of the base game, along with the Act 8 campaign. Plague Doctor is a safe damage over time caster, Shield Lancer has Shield Wall, one of the two builds at the top of both Season 10 tier lists, and Jötunn and Marauder are strong melee options. Classes and botting
Any class works with a farming bot, but simple builds work best: a main attack, a movement skill and a defensive skill. MUSA's Hero Siege bot fights with the skills you assign, mines ore, picks up what passes your loot filter, stashes a full bag and resets the map.
