How to farm gold in Hero Siege Season 10

Where the gold actually comes from in Season 10, from vendoring on day one to pristine gems, Bifröst Keys, ore and the Auction House later on.

Gold in Hero Siege comes from two places: selling things to vendors and selling things to other players. Early in the season the first one carries you. Once you are in Hell, almost all of your income comes from the second.

The short version

  • Early on, pick up and vendor everything. It is slow but steady, and vendors pay instantly with no fees.
  • From Nightmare on, the money is in pristine gems, keys, high-level ore and gems you have upgraded yourself.
  • Take the Bounty Board every day. It has a 60% chance to hand out a Bifröst Key once every 24 hours.
  • In Hell, Chaos Tower and Unstable Rift are the best general gold farms, because density and drop quality are both high.

Early season: vendor everything

For the first few days of a season nobody has gold and the Auction House is thin, so selling to players is slow. Vendors do not care. They take anything and pay at once, and there is no transaction fee.

So pick up everything and sell it. As you move up, get pickier: at first grab it all, then only Mythics and Satanics once your bag starts filling faster than you can empty it. Hero Siege lets you pick up loot from a distance by hovering over it and pressing F, which saves a lot of walking when a pack drops items across the screen.

Keep Ahto's Rat if it drops in the yellow cave on the Outskirts of Inoya. It is the crafting material for the Edible PAS Logo, which opens Sheiponia, and the Sheep King's Hide, Wool and Crown from Sheiponia sell steadily all season.

What sells for real gold

Prices change daily and drop across the season as more players reach Hell, so the numbers below are rough. They come from Metaroad's Season 10 gold farming guide.

ItemWhere it comes fromRough price
Pristine gemsGeneral drops, and Ether Tree nodes that raise the chance10,000 to 50,000 gold, depending on the gem
Bifröst KeyDrops, and the daily Bounty BoardAbout 30,000 to 50,000 gold
Soul of AnguishPrime Evil70,000 gold and up
Amethyst gemsDrops, upgraded to max qualityHigh and steady, because of the Arcane damage bonus
Processed oreMining, then crafting into Jadenium Powder or Tarethium OreBetter than raw ore later in the season

Two habits make most of the difference. Upgrade gems to max quality before you sell them, because a finished gem sells for far more than the pieces that went into it. And craft full keys instead of selling the parts: a complete Key of Terror sells for more than the act boss drops that make it.

Ore and gems

Mining is the most reliable gold source that needs no gear at all. Early in the season, raw ore sells because everyone is levelling crafting. Later, the money moves to processed materials like Jadenium Powder and Tarethium Ore, so it pays to hold your high-level ore and craft it rather than dump it on the market.

If you are putting points into the Ether Tree, the Pristine Extraction nodes and the Overflowing Veins bonus both push more of your farming time into things you can sell. Our ore mining guide has the full list of ores, the mining level each needs and where they spawn.

Flipping on the Auction House

Flipping means buying items listed below their usual price and relisting them at the normal price. It works from the first day of the season and needs no gear, only attention. The risk is that you misjudge a price and sit on stock. Start with items you already know the value of, like keys and gems, before you try it on gear.

Daily income: the Bounty Board

The Bounty Board in the Town of Inoya has a 60% chance to give you a Bifröst Key every 24 hours. At 30,000 to 50,000 gold a key, it is one of the best returns for a few minutes of play in the game. Do it every day, even on days you are not farming.

Endgame: where to farm in Hell

Once your character can handle Hell, the best general farms are Chaos Tower and Unstable Rift. Both pack a lot of monsters into a small space and drop good loot, which means more sellable items per minute than walking open zones.

Boss farming pays too, if your build can do it. The Reaper waits in the Shadow Realm, an arena that map modifiers do not touch. Prime Evil drops the Soul of Anguish. Sung Lee costs 50 Battle Fragments per entry and is weak on Hell difficulty, so he is a good first boss to farm.

If you are still gearing up for Hell, Highland Graveyard on Nightmare is a good bridge. The gear it drops sells for around 1,000 to 2,000 gold a piece to other players making the same jump.

Getting more gold per hour

Gold per hour is loot per map multiplied by maps per hour. Most players only work on the first half. The second half is where time goes missing: walking back to town, sorting a full bag, deciding whether a map is worth finishing.

That is also the part a bot handles well. MUSA clears the map with your build, mines the ore patches it passes, picks up what passes your loot filter and walks a full bag to the town stash between maps. You still decide what to sell and when, which is where the real gold is made.

Common questions

What is the fastest way to get gold in Hero Siege?

Early in a season, vendoring everything. Later, selling pristine gems, keys and processed ore to players, and farming Chaos Tower or Unstable Rift once you can survive Hell.

Should I sell raw ore or craft it first?

Sell raw ore early, when everyone needs it for crafting. Later in the season, processed materials like Jadenium Powder and Tarethium Ore are worth more than the ore that goes into them.

Is buying gold worth it?

Buying gold from third-party sellers breaks the game's rules and puts your account at risk. It is also one of the easiest ways to get scammed, because there is nothing you can do if the seller takes the money and never delivers.
