Best Hero Siege farming builds for Season 10
What makes a build fast at clearing maps, the skills sitting at the top of this season's tier lists, and how to set a build up so a bot can play it.
A farming build has one job: turn a map into loot as fast as it can without dying. That is a different job from killing Prime Evil, and the builds that are best at it this season are not always the ones topping the boss charts.
The short version
- For farming, clear speed and movement matter more than single target damage. Screen-wide area damage plus a teleport or dash wins.
- Metaroad's Season 10 endgame tier list has Lightning Fury, Totems, Flicker, Caustic Spearhead, Scorching Whip, Shield Wall, Frost Sunder and Surgical Blood Letting at S tier.
- Stormweaver, Samurai, Plague Doctor and Marksman come up again and again in farming guides this season.
- If you bot, pick a build with few buttons and no fussy timing. Four attack keys and one movement key is plenty.
What makes a build good at farming
Most of your farming time is spent walking between packs, not fighting them. A build that deletes a pack in one cast and then teleports to the next one will out-farm a build with twice the damage that has to walk. So when we look at a build for farming, we look at four things, roughly in this order.
- Area damage. The main skill should hit the whole pack, ideally the whole screen, so you are never cleaning up stragglers.
- Movement. A teleport, dash or leap on a short cooldown. It cuts the dead time between packs and gets you out of trouble.
- Staying alive without babysitting. Leech, a strong defensive layer or enough range that nothing reaches you. Every death costs you the map.
- Gear it can start on. A build that only works with three Satanics is an endgame target, not a farming build for week one.
Single target damage comes last. You need enough to kill the elite packs and the act bosses on your route, and anything past that is spent on content you are not farming.
What the Season 10 tier lists say
Tier lists move with every patch, so treat these as a snapshot of late September 2026. Metaroad's Season 10 class tier list splits its rankings into leveling and endgame, and the two lists overlap more than you would expect.
| Tier | Leveling | Endgame |
|---|---|---|
| S | Lightning Fury, Gunner Drones, Bone Shred, Anchor Swing, Shield Wall, Tornado, Blood Surge, Summoner | Totem, Lightning Fury, Flicker, Caustic Spearhead, Scorching Whip, Shield Wall, Frost Sunder, Surgical Blood Letting |
| A | Caustic Spearhead, Odin's Fury, Explosive Kunai, Pickup Raid, Lunar Orbit, Sand Gush, Scorching Whip, Totems, Satan's Mark | Bullet Hell, Bone Fragments, Cannon Ball, Explosive Kunai, Blood Surge, Twister Tornado, Anchor Swing, Chainsaw Slash, Heavy Ball, Summon, Multishot |
Two skills sit at S tier on both lists: Lightning Fury and Shield Wall. If you want one character that levels fast and keeps farming well into Hell, those are the safest bets this season. Metaroad also points out that its list is subjective and changed several times during the season.
Four classes farmers keep picking
Look through this season's farming guides and the same four classes keep coming up. They get there in different ways.
Stormweaver
Chain lightning that reaches across the screen, and teleports to get between packs. That is the clear and reset loop that farming rewards, which is why it tops so many farming lists. It is also comfortable in Chaos Tower once the gear is in place.
Samurai
Snaps from enemy to enemy and blows up packs with burst damage. Very fast in the right hands. The catch is that it plays close to the monsters, so it asks more of your defences than a ranged build does.
Plague Doctor
Damage over time from a safe distance. You spread poison and keep moving while the pack melts behind you. It is not the fastest clear, but it is one of the safest, and for long sessions safe usually means more loot per hour than fast and fragile.
Marksman
Strong ranged damage and good mobility. Mobalytics runs a Drone Marksman endgame build this season, and Gunner Drones sit at S tier for leveling on Metaroad's list. A clean, low risk farmer that keeps working deep into Chaos Tower.
Where to farm with them
Where you farm matters as much as what you farm with. These are the routes that come up most in Season 10 guides.
- Misty Swamp for Colossal Chest XP. The chest gives a big lump of experience, so levelling here comes down to how fast you can clear to it and reset. It is where the screenshot at the top of this page was taken.
- Chaos Tower and Unstable Rift once you are geared. High monster density, good drop rates, and they reward exactly the kind of area clear described above.
- Unholy Sieges for their waves of monsters and the drops that come with them.
- Ore-heavy zones if you are farming gold. Our ore mining guide covers which ores sell and where they spawn.
Setting a build up for a bot
This part is about MUSA specifically. A bot plays your character with the skills you give it, so some builds translate better than others.
Keep the button count low. MUSA takes up to four attack skills on Left Click, Right Click, Q and R, plus a mobility skill on E. A build that needs six buttons in a precise order will lose damage when it is automated. A build that fires two area skills off cooldown and teleports between packs loses almost nothing.
Match dodging to the build. Ranged builds like Stormweaver, Plague Doctor and Marksman should have dodging on, so the bot sidesteps attacks and ground effects. Melee builds like Samurai do better with dodging off, so they walk straight into the pack instead of dancing around it.
Give it room to survive mistakes. A person reacts to a bad pull. A bot keeps going, so a bit more defence than you would run yourself pays for itself in fewer deaths and fewer abandoned maps.
Set the loot filter before you start. Picking up every item fills your bag in minutes. Pick the rarities worth keeping and let MUSA empty the bag into the town stash when it gets full.
Common questions
What is the best class for farming in Hero Siege Season 10?
There is no single answer, but Stormweaver is the most common pick for pure clear speed, and Lightning Fury sits at S tier for both leveling and endgame on Metaroad's list. If you care more about not dying, Plague Doctor or Marksman are safer.
Is a leveling build different from a farming build?
Often, yes. Leveling rewards whatever kills things fastest with no gear. Endgame farming rewards scaling, so some skills that are A tier early become S tier once you have the items for them, and the reverse also happens.
Can a bot play any build?
It can play most of them, but builds with a few area skills and a movement skill work best. Complicated combos and builds that depend on precise positioning lose the most when automated.
