Is Torchlight Infinite on PS5, Xbox or mobile?

PC and mobile yes, consoles not yet. What the console rumours actually say, the PC requirements and how the mobile version compares.

Torchlight Infinite is on PC through Steam and on mobile through iOS and Android, and all three share the same servers. There is no PS5, Xbox or Switch version. Developers have talked about consoles, but XD has not announced a console release or a date.

The short version

  • Platforms: Windows PC on Steam, iOS and Android. One account and one set of characters across all of them.
  • No console version is out. Reports of a PS5 version come from a developer Q&A, with no official announcement or date.
  • The PC version runs on modest hardware: a GTX 660 Ti and 8 GB of RAM at minimum, and an SSD is recommended.
  • PC and mobile players play together, trade on the same Auction House and can use the same characters.

The game entered early access on Steam in October 2022 and fully launched on 9 May 2023, according to its Steam page.

Is Torchlight Infinite coming to PS5 or Xbox?

Possibly, but nothing is confirmed. A July 2026 report says the developers mentioned console plans, PS5 included, in a Q&A on the game's Discord, without giving a date. We could not find an official XD or PlayStation announcement to back that up, and there has been nothing at all about Xbox.

If you see a Torchlight game in the PlayStation or Xbox store, it is one of the older games in the series, such as Torchlight II or III, not Infinite. Until XD announces a console version, PC is the way to play it with a controller. Our controller support guide covers gamepads on PC and Steam Deck.

PC system requirements

Figures are from the Steam store page. Steam lists Windows 7 as the minimum, but Steam itself has required Windows 10 or later since January 2024. The recommended graphics cards came out in 2016, so most gaming PCs bought since then meet them.

Mobile or PC?

It is the same game on both, with the same seasons, characters and market. Log in with the same account and your characters are there on either device. The differences are in how it plays.

  • On PC you get a mouse and keyboard or a controller, a bigger screen for reading loot and item stats, and much easier trading and price checking.
  • On mobile you get touch controls and the ability to play anywhere, which suits dailies and short sessions.
  • Long farming sessions are easier on PC. Phones get hot and drain their battery over hours of maps.

Co-op works across platforms too, so a friend on a phone can join you on PC. Our page on whether Torchlight Infinite is multiplayer explains how co-op and crossplay work.

Botting on PC

MUSA's Torchlight Infinite bot runs on Windows 10 and 11 alongside the Steam version. Because characters are shared, anything the bot farms on PC is there when you open the game on your phone. Automation is against the game's rules, and our bot safety guide explains the risk.
