Hero Siege trading guide: the market, fees and what sells
Direct trades, the market and its fees, who can trade with whom, and the items that sell best in Season 10.
Most Hero Siege gold in the endgame comes from selling to other players. You can trade directly with someone in the same session or list items on the market for anyone to buy. Season characters only trade with the same season, and hardcore and softcore stay apart. Here is how it works and what sells.
The short version
- Direct trades work between players in the same session. Lock the offer, check it, then accept.
- The market lets you list items for other players. The official wiki lists a 1 percent listing fee and 10 percent on collecting gold.
- Season 10 characters only trade with Season 10 characters, and hardcore and softcore do not mix. Account Bound items cannot be traded.
- Pristine gems, keys, Uber boss items and processed ore sell best.
Direct trades
Both players need to be in the same multiplayer session, such as a shared town. Right-click the other player, choose Trade, add items and gold, then both lock the offer and accept. Check sockets and stat rolls before you accept, since items with the same name can roll very differently.
The market
The market lets you list items and sell them while you are offline. The official wiki lists a 1 percent fee for listing items and 10 percent when you collect the gold, which matters for small flips. Season 10 reworked the market filters, so you can search by stats, sockets and affixes more precisely.
Trade rules
- Season characters trade only within the same season.
- Hardcore and softcore have separate pools.
- Account Bound items cannot be dropped, traded or sold. Check the tooltip.
- Accounts need to be linked to trade. Unlinked accounts lose trade and market access.
- Selling or buying items for real money is banned, as our page on buying gold explains.
What sells
| Item | Why it sells |
|---|---|
| Pristine and max quality gems | Every build uses them, and finished gems are worth far more than parts |
| Bifröst Keys and full Keys of Terror | Players want the content behind them |
| Uber boss items and tablets | The strongest new items of the season |
| Processed ore | Crafters need it all season |
| Unholy and Angelic charms | Rare and powerful |
The gold farming guide has rough prices, and the Bifröst Key guide covers when to sell keys and when to use them.
Pricing your items
- Search the market for the same item and similar rolls before you list.
- Price slightly under the cheapest similar listing if you want a quick sale.
- Prices drop as more players reach Hell and Inferno, so sell expensive items early in the season.
- Account for the fees. A 10 percent fee on collection eats small margins.
Feeding the market
Everything you sell has to be farmed first. MUSA's Hero Siege bot fights with the skills you assign, mines ore, picks up what passes your loot filter, stashes a full bag and resets the map. Panic Art bans for automation online, so read our guide to cheats, trainers and bots before you decide.
